Rojales Spain
Rojales Spain: Above is a picture of the Charles III bridge, which crosses the River Segura in the centre of Rojales, a town on the Costa Blanca, Spain. I took this picture while visiting Rojales in 2010 on a beautiful sunny day. Beside the bridge is a water wheel which was part of irrigation systems put in many centuries ago to make the surrounding land suitable for growing crops.
Rojales is inland from Guardamar del Segura and is close to Ciudad Quesada.
